We were extremely disappointed with this 'luxurious'house. Furnishings dated, dark and dingy. Curtains hanging down. Kitchen badly equipped and old. TVs and I Pod did not work! Sink blocked! Toilet flooded! Hot Tub in a car park and out of the way so not used. Owners/managers rude and abrupt - did not use snooker table too afraid to because owners kept on about the amount it would cost to replace! Garden furniture wobbly and unsafe. The web-site is very deceiving and not accurate! The only good point was it was lovely and warm!

Do not book this house if you want 5 star. It is not! Hot tub is placed on a gravel drive in a car park. House is gloomy and dark. The 'cinema room' is a lounge more likened to an old peoples home with an average size tv. The furnishings are old. The garden furniture old and like an old pub car park. One of the upstairs bathrooms flooded. The kitchen is mall and not well equipped not even having a tea towel - the excuse was everyone makes them a mess!!!! No large utensils for large groups. The owners/managers were rude and offensive when they greated us - in fact so much so that we were afraid to use the snooker table! The house was in a lovely location but the management and the house was a positive left down - not luxury and definetly not 5 star. In fact we complained twice and not the grace to have one reply. At a cost of nearly £3000 for a weekend you would be better to rent somehwhere else!

As a licencee time is very precious to me when I get the opportunity to get away. I could not of wished for a more friendly place to spend an evening with my partner to celebrate my birthday. The reception we received on our arrival was so welcoming and the room was beautiful and very comfortable. I recommend any one to stay at this beautiful and quiet surrounding house if you want peace and fantastic service. We will defineately be returning as I have stayed at many hotels and guest houses but none reach the standards of Ashleigh House.Good Luck Dawn & Rob you deserve to be very succesful.

Good Points: The hotel is in a lovely location close to Henley in Arden with excellent views. Bad Points: The en suite shower was too small and did not work well. General Review: A good stay and I would return to the hotel.
