Went to the White Swan for a meal last night. I was so happy to see that Dave was back in the kitchen full time as the food is always great when he cooks. the atmosphere is just what the doctor ordered & all for next to nothing Well Done

Called into the White Swan today after having not been there for over 10 years and found the lady behind the bar extremely friendly. Although the pub was closing she allowed us to stay in the beer garden with our children and finish our drinks Overall an enjoyable afternoon....

I would just like to say the White Swan has a fantastic atmosphere, excellant, well presented home cooking at VERY reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and menu is brilliant. Would recommend to everyone. The comment from Kerrie below is due the the change in standards at the white swan, where she no longer fits in. Standards are now very high, well done to the management.

Food was fantastic! We felt very welcome as soon as we had stepped through the door. It made a very freshing change to visit and authentic country pub, with real ales and genuine people. I would have thought the food belonged in a 5 star restaurant, as it was amazing. What made the food better is it wasnt pretending to be anything it wasnt, proper pub grub at its best! I would go back anytime!!! Well done the White Swan

I visited the White Swan and I was most impressed by the management. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, it was clear to see that the food was home cooked and not processed bought in rubbish. The overall impression that I got was that it was a nice place for families, and couples young and old. I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends. 10/10
