Went there for Sunday lunch 2 for 10 pound ordered a table for 4.30pm for five as it was my son in law birthday, went to order at 4.40pm and was told there was none left. They advertise Sunday lunch 12pm to 6pm so they still had another hour and a half to sell meals, what annoyed me was they knew 5 people were coming for meals so why did they not make sure they had enough meals to cater. We walked out disgusted and went to the Scarisbrick Arms in Lydiate and enjoyed a really good 2 course meal

Friendly pub, good food and a warm atmosphere. When we visited there was a three piece band called Northerndaze playing they were amazing, so full of life and enthusiasm for the customers. So when you drive past look at the boards outside for the appearance of Northerndaze and have a night to remember.
