Warm welcome with wide range of good quality wines, soft drinks, bottled ciders, draught beers & ciders and excellent real ales. Fresh food is served daily from midday to 9.30, locally sourced foods with an international twist, reflecting chef Andre's wide international experience in quality establishments. New Management since the middle of March, working hard to breathe some life back into this country pub.

I would just like to ask you to try the Old Farmers Arms. The restaurant has been under new management since the beginning of August and I would like to ask folks to try us now. Hopefully, people will find that things have changed.

I have been eating here with my customer (from Smiths Aerospace) for the past four years. The food and the service (thanks to Beverley), have been superb. Today we (three of us) appeared at 12.30 lunchtime and after beeing served with drinks at the bar were ignored. When I said we were eating the only girl behind the bar eventually sat us at a table. We were then left for about 20 mins and when no-one came to take our order I complained and she told me you were "shortstaffed" and should have come to the bar to order. She eventually took our order, somewhat reluctantly. When the food eventually arrived, (plates of overcooked veg first, without any serving spoons, we were then presented with "Medallions of Pork" in a creamy sauce (which was great), but with chips and a salad which did not go with the dish. Not only was this totally inappropriate but no-one asked us early on if everything was ok. I found the staff (all 1 of her totally) inadequate, (she didn't know what a Rioja was) and more importantly couldn't find one, and when we finally finished our meal, some 2 hours after, didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert. Unless you can give me some form of response I can only say that neither mysely or any of my customers (Smiths Aerospace in Cheltenham) will ever visit your establishment again. Brian Moore
