Definateley not worth a revisit. Three mains ordered. One - really only a starter portion. Two - no veg served just meat and gravy. Three -ingredients for sea food salad, hardly anything that was printed on menu and no new potatoes. Mentioned to staff twice but just ignored, no apology, no complimentary coffee's etc. Service dreadful - hence bad review

Waited 1 1/2 hours for main to be served and it was freezing cold. Ordered a sea food dish which only had prawns in! Husband ordered rare - medium steak and was WELL done. Total party of 15 and only one person was happy with the food. Would never recommend to anyone!

Very lovely pub, offers roast dinners on a Sunday. Went downhill for a while when previous managers left, but now has permanent managers who are doing a very good job. We go in for our sunday beef roast which is just delicious. Would reccommend as an eating place rather than a drinking place, and the full service in the restaurant is very good. Much better than the Blue Strawberry up the road.

As a group of work colleagues, we have frequented this pub at least once a week for 4 years and have enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, food and reasonable prices.
Recently, it has had a change of ownership and we have noticed a change for the worst.
The same food is now at least £2 more expensive for a smaller portion. Although the staff are very pleasant, the atmosphere is not the same, mainly due to the noticeable decrease in clientele.
We believe that, as new management, they should have at least maintained the same pricing structure for the food. This would have encouraged the old customers to stick with them.
