I can only speak of the two for £9.00 meal, three steak and ale pies and one ham egg and chips. Plates cold , carrots cold , french beans just dipped in water, all the food including the chips were cold to luke warm.Quite a lot of customers but I and my party voted not to visit again.

food was ok but staff are leave a lot to be desired when I went to order the food I was welcomed by (What do you want) not good if we hadnt wanted to see if the food was as good as we had been told ( which to be fair its normal pub grub) I would of walked out and I think this was the manager so wont be going again.I have since been told by a few people that this is the main reason why they wont go again so I hope the bloke in charge takes note and books a few public relations courses

We visit this lovely village pub quite regularly without any hesitation about where to go to spend pleasant evenings. The food is very good and staff (young good-humoured people :-D) is welcoming and friendly. We can warmly recommend you all to stop by.

We visited for a spot of food early Saturday evening. My wife ordered the fishcakes and i ordered Chilli Con Carne. Alas both turned out to be very very disappointing. The fishcakes were greasy and looked like they had been fried to a crisp black finish and were pretty unedible. The chilli con carne lacked any taste being akin to tomato sauce with a non-spicy meat content. There was no chilli buzz to be had anywhere! Sorry but a big improvement would be needed before we would ever consider revisiting and we do eat out an awful lot. It really seemed like the food was churned out with no thought as to what was being put on peoples' plates!

This is a very lovely country pub. I rarely commend a chef and quality of service in this country, however, this is an exception, the service is top draw, the steak just melts in your mouth all in very fab surroundings. I will recommend this pub to anyone.

What a fantastic country pub! It has been carefully refurbished to be relaxing and cosey and the staff are always warm and welcoming. The food is also of high quality and the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend you stop by.
