This is the best pub, the landlord is very welcoming and makes you feel like he is genuinely thrilled you are coming to his pub. If that's not enough they welcome dogs, supply treats. As an asidetheir Sunday Lunch is to die for ...tasty with good portions. Well done.

Seven of us, a group of old work colleagues called for our regular monthly lunch meeting despite reading negative and very negative reviews,these proved completely unfounded. The welcome and service were very good. The food well prepared and exactly as described and JWLees beer well kept and tasty.
After 15 years of lunch meetings, we have tried a lot of pubs in Cheshire and this one provides a better than average experience.
