Called into The Black Greyhound as i had heard it had been taken over, what a difference, freshly refurbished, not perfect but certainly now a pleasant pub which has new english staff and a new operations director. We only called in for a drink but found that they have a great new menu so decided to eat, the food was lovely with fantastic chips !!! we will definitely go back as it the food was excellent at a good price and the staff were polite and friendly

Popped in here for a swift drink and wound up staying! Nice inside and very friendly staff and locals, even free food! There is an Indian restaurant attached which looks very plush. No real ales for my partner but a great band playing as we arrived called Raynemaker. Seem a very experienced bunch and went down well with the locals. Even gave us a free CD! One of the managers got up to sing an Indian song with them at the end which was strange but great fun. We'll come back to check the restaurant out and hopefully they will have a band on again. A great little place good band and found quite by chance which is always fun.
