Stayed overnight at the John Barleycorn Inn during a business trip to the area & was made to feel exceptionally welcome by the hosts Gordan & Ruth. Stayed in the Chocolate room which was tastefully decorated, very clean & short of nothing, paticulary "Chocolate"
Would definitely reccomend this Inn for good value & friendly accomodation.

Fantastic renovation job, good food,magnificent pint,excellent friendly staff and new licensees Ruth and Jordan.
You won't believe the prices and the new accomodation is first class, you must give this beautiful pub/hotel a visit or four!!

Had a few beers and dinner at the john barleycorn under new management and has been refurbished excellent atmosphere very friendly and welcoming will definatley have a few return visits !!
