Lovely campsite, friendly and clean. although their are two shower blocks with two showers for ladies/ children. There is only enough hotwater to supply one shower at one time. So can cause queues. Also by the saturday there was far to many tents. people were stepping over our guide ropes. Saying that had a great time, although proberbly wouldn't revisit.

Upon arriving the campsite looked very spacious and well presented. We arrived at the shop and had a group booking with one night prepaid,we were shown to our plot which had been reserved due to the large party we had arriving after us however there was some dispute with one of the campsite owners that we were taking up to much room on the plot that we had reserved, after trying to explain that the plot was only for our party we were allowed to continue to set-up. There was then some dispute with the paying of our bill, even though the owners had one of our credit cards and had in fact already charged us £50 they believed that ' in theory' we hadnt paid?? After some talking it became clear that they were requesting we pay for all of our party for both nights on the first day? There was also a comment made by one of the staff regarding us being chucked off the site if we caused any trouble.Seeing so we had a 50yr old bloke and a 9 year old child included in our party it was doubtful we were there to cause trouble! I bet the group of teenagers set-up on the next field who trashed the toilets during the night didnt get the 'chucking off' threat! All in all a very nice campsite, well kept with all facilities possible.Just make sure you confirm your plot and arrange when you are going to pay!
