One of the greatest pubs in our lifetime. The singer Hedley Kay who plays every Sunday, brilliant musician, really knows how to work a crowd. The landlords Sharon and Roger and their family are incredibly welcoming and friendly to all who enter. A brilliant location and a lovely selection of wine and beers, adequately priced. Since the refurbishment the public house and only gotten better, the comfortable loungers in the corners make us feel right at home and we often spend hours in there, never feeling unwelcome. Many people we speak to there are regulars and continue to return as the atmosphere is so wonderfully pleasant. A great pub!
