After being told about this in 2013 (first visit) by a work colleague, it is a must go every year.
Excellent event if you are a pure country fan, roll on 4/7/2015

We are members of the 44th N.C. American Civil War Re-enactment Society.
I and my fellow members have been attending the Calne Western for over 5 years and it gets better every year. There is something for all ages,good live & disco music all day long.Plenty of stalls and hot food stands,and of course the beverage tent. For more excitment there is also the regular western town shootout by re-enacters which is put on at intervals through the day.
The organizers & their helpers are all friendly and approchable and there is ample parking & other facilities.
