I'm not one to complain but we found the pub disapointing for the following reasons,
1. Poor service, got the impression outsiders are not welcome.
2. The restuarant was freezing, we were not the only customers to comment on this.
3. The soup starter was luke warm and tasteless.
4. One main course was supposed to be an 8oz Aberdeen Angus fillet steak but was tiny clearly not 8oz uncooked, the salad was brown at the edges and it was served on a cold plate. At nearly twenty pounds for a main it was an insult.
We didnt stay for desert or further drinks and at fifty three pounds for two drinks two soups and two mains I feel we were let down. To add insult to injury when I chose to leave only a small tip we had a sarcastic comment from the landlady upon leaving.
On the whole very very disapointing.
