Had been here over 20 years ago, went to see what it was like these days. My husband and I had a great meal, lots of dishes on the menu, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere, will certainly go back

Dined at The Black Horse this lunchtime. The menu was varied with a dish to suit all tastes, specials board adds a variety. The gammon I dined on was excellent and the breaded plaice my wife ordered was really tasty. The staff were welcoming, professional and paid attention to detail. I always think that a busy pub is a good pub and this was a very busy pub. Looking forward to returning.

Excellent food - well varied menu ranging from steaks , gammon ,chicken ,fish & chips ! Nice atarters so many to choose from same with main dish and puddings. Blackboard specials .I enjoyed a chicken dish and opted for veg - got pototoes, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage & ratatouile all very hot and beautifully cooked. I couldn t find a menu on the internet as I have very fussy eaters . Was told the menu over the phone ,will definately return .A hidden gem of a pub with fab food .
