I called into this pub on a spur of the moment visit on my way home from work for a bite to eat. I found the atmosphere to be very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, well prepared and plentiful. The service from Charlene, the waitress and Janice, the manager was superb. Very professional and efficient. Definitely recommended. I will be visiting again, very soon.

We have recently moved into the area and have eaten at this pub a number of times over the previous months. The food has always been delicious, and the waitresses have been fantanstic. We will continue to visit this pub as the meals are lovely and value for money, and are all served in a friendly atmospher

I would never set foot back in this disgrace of a establishment again. My Wife, Son and I visited this pub last Sat as we were travelling to a relatives home in co. durham. The waitress was surly and disrespectful, more intrested in her mobile phone than us and other customers. Firstly i was served a drink in a dirty glass then We ordered our meals which took forever to be served and then they were awful. I complained to the waitress who refused us eye contact and i quote "so what you want, more food?" please note the lack of apology. I asked to speak to management and she replied "He ain't here" after i gave up, we paid and pulled out of the car park passing the kitchen entrance and at this point i felt physcally sick. The Chef, if that is what i could refer to him as, was outside smoking a cigarete was appallingly filthy. His clothing looked like it had not been washed this month, My wife was absolutely disgusted. Never will i ever visit this Resturant again
