Best rates for a Local Hotel

This is the best pub in the area. Not fussy but well kept and with friendly patrons. A variety of traditional ales are on tap, the best selection in the local area. Home made food is well priced and with good portions. A real throw back to a time gone by, the Black Dog Inn is well worth a visit.

Very friendly place in great setting. Very good food and beer, smashing log fires when it's cold or wet!One of the very best in the area.

Very good food, good beer, comfortable bed and we were made to feel very welcome - a lovely place to stay, quiet and with country walks with spectacular views over the sea and across to the Scar Fell range right from the door.
