Good Points: Friendly staff, ideal position in Ashby Bad Points: Car parking badly signposted in town did not show that after 5 pm was free. Had to ask a traffic warden for advice and she was very helpful General review: Very interesting and enjoyable stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.Landlady and landlord of The Lamb Inn was very welcoming and enjoyed our visit there

Good Points: Central location. Free entry to club next door and no need to queue. Able to take drinks to room after bar closes. Clean room. Bad Points: Shower poor - not enough power and curtain very annoying. Breakfast took a long time to cook - over half an hour. Landlady promised us a free drink as the code was not working on the front door. The next day she blanked us and the drink did not materialise. General review: The hotel did the job for want we wanted - friendly and helpful staff. The weekend overall in Ashby was excellent! The only reason I have put that I would not book this hotel again is because I don't believe in going to the same place twice.
