We booked lunch for 3 persons on the above date.
We have never before recieved such bad and unhelpful service. We arrived 15 mins early and were promptly shown to our table. After half hour we did not receive a menu. I had to approach a waitress to request one. (other tables had their orders taken by this time, they had arrived AFTER US!) 10mins later our order was taken. Only one of our party of 3 ordered a starter (soup). 20 mins passed with no starter served. Approached waitress who said the chef had got mixed up with orders. 15mins later, tepid soup arrived. Another half hour passed with no main course.... now noticing others were on the sweet course!! By now patience had run out, was promised immediate service with our main course.....surprise, surprise, after 20mins NOTHING ARRIVED!! Time to go. We complained to owners, no payment was requested....but no apology was given. We run self catering accommodation and we will no longer recommend this dreadful restaurant to our clients.
A very unprofessional service from such a prestige hotel.
