Brynford, North Wales

Review of Brynford by Dawn Pearson on February 24th, 2006
I have not visited Brynford for some years - strange as I only live in Flint. However, we took a walk up there some weeks ago and did not realise what we were missing as the area is - I can only explain it as being like a breath of fresh air - not suprising, living in Flint. I must say the highlight of the journey, as you can imagine walking all them miles, was to be greeted in the first and may be only public house we came to (crooked horn) by the most friendliest staff and people I have had the pleasure of meeting for decades. I believe they have not been running it long. I just hope there are there in 2009 as it will take me that long to get my breath back. They made us so welcome - thanks. ***and I only had an orange juice!! .
