I have used the Wheatsheaf for eating and as a base for 45 years.
It is now back to its best.
The rooms are rightly priced, clean and comfortable with cooked breakfast or an early continental available.
In the pub the food is really good both at lunchtime and in the evening and pensioners get a special deal sometimes.
The wine selection and quality is excellent and the prices reasonable.
Real ale is always on in the bar and well kept.

We had our staff night out at the Wheatcheif Inn in Betws-y-Rhos in December 2007. We didnt really expect the food to be up to much (cause christmas party nights never are) but we were wrong! it was fantastic what a great night! The food was one of the best I have had for ages, tasty ,hot and plenty of it. The staff were so attentive and pleasant and the disco was brill. we will be booking for next year ! A big thank you to Julie and all her staff. xxx
