At Bovey Dental Practice we aim to provide modern dental care comfortably in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We consider prevention is of the up most importance. With regular visits the need for emergencies and major treatment can be reduced. All equipment is sterilised by autoclave as in hospital, or is disposable for you safety. Computerised radiography is used to reduce radiation by up to 90% compared to conventional radiography.

Acceptance of patients: All new patients, adults and children, may be accepted independently from the NHS either on a 'pay as you go' basis or by joining the practice Isoplan.

The Dentist: Dr Jonathan Terry qualified at The Royal London Hospital Medical College, University of London in 1991.
The Hygienists: Joanna Edwards qualified with the Royal Navy in 1988. Louisa Jenkins qualified from the University of Bristol Dental Hospital in 2009.

The hygienists work with the dentist to help patients care for their teeth. The role is a combination of a clinician, treating and preventing gum (periodontal) disease and decay, and teaching and motivating patients to care for their own teeth and gums. Louisa is also qualified as a Dental Therapist which allows her to perform small fillings and simple extractions of children's teeth.
