Castle Combe Tips
A great little village, quite a steep road down - if I was walking I wouldn't want to have to walk back up ! - and you don't have to stay at the Manor House Hotel & Golf Club to be able to walk through the grounds. They are quite unexpected and lovely - Johann...a recent visitor
Castle Combe is surely one of the prettiest villages in Britain and is largely unspoilt by the modern world. It is situated in a deep valley of wooded hillsides with the lovely ByBrook stream running through. The honey coloured cottages, the Ancient market cross and well-used Inn all set to make this village well worth a visit.
Castle Combe is just 15 minutes from the M4 and convenient for both Bath and Bristol - Nick
