Murrayfield is a fine country house dating from the late 18th century. It is peacefully situated in its own lovely garden and grounds and has stunning views of rolling countryside and distant hills.

The rooms are large, warm and comfortable with sofas, plenty of space to relax and lots of thoughtful touches. They are also very well equipped with TV, video, tea/coffee tray, hairdryer and even a mini-fridge. Full details and prices are on our website.

We enjoy what we do and our visitors invariably comment on how welcoming and friendly we are and how peaceful and relaxing are the surroundings. Nature lovers are thrilled by our red squirrels and unusual birds.

Located just 1 mile from Lockerbie town centre and 5 minutes from the M74, Murrayfield is a perfect place to break a long journey and an ideal base from which to explore our beautiful and undiscovered south west Scotland. We are also close enough to Gretna Green and Comlongon Castle to attract an increasing number of wedding people.

Travelling horses can also be catered for in stone built stables.
