Steeped in history Henry VI and Oliver Cromwell were both visitors Irton Hall sits at the foot of the majestic western fells in the Lake District National Park, and these two comfortable properties sit within the Hall's 30 acres of grounds and parkland. This very special location, at the junction of Wasdale, Eskdale and Miterdale, affords easy access to fell walking, country pubs, nature reserves and fishing tarns. The Coast to Coast footpath and Ravenglass to Eskdale steam railway are 4 miles, the Cumbrian Cycleway is 2 miles, and Windermere's boat trips and good shopping are 20 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles.
