The resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, linked by cliff railway, lie within easy reach as do idyllic Watersmeet, Badgeworthy Water (of notorious 'Doone' family fame), Dunster Castle, Minehead and the West Somerset Railway. Wimbleball Lake for fishing and water sports, and the bustling market town of Tiverton are close by whilst beautiful Dartmoor is a further afield. Riding, golf and good pubs locally. The pretty town of Brampton (2 miles) offers good shops and eating places.
