Bed & Breakfast Accommodation and Self Catering for Two - Peace and tranquility in a lovely natural environmentA warm welcome awaits you at Bay Tree Farm where Valerie and Andrew Leeming offer home hospitality in a truly rural setting close to Fountains Abbey. Bay Tree Farm is ideal for short stays or for longer breaks as there is so much to do within easy driving distances.There are so many things to do within easy driving distance that you are spoilt for choice; everything from castles and stately homes; to gardens and wide open countryside. Foot paths cross the farm and one leads to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal gardens and deer park only 1½miles away. The Leemings have long had family connections with Fountains Abbey; the mill in particular; as Andrew's grandfather was the last miller.Valerie and Andrew Leeming have been offering traditional farmhouse hospitality at their working farm since 1982. The comfortable accommodation is in an 18th Century converted sandstone barn with views over the surrounding countryside. This conversion; as well as the guest bedrooms; has its own kitchen; reception area; dining room and sitting room with huge fireplace and French windows into the garden. Evening meals are available on request. There is ample car parking and it is a non smoking establishment. Trained dogs are welcome if the guest owners are accommodated on the ground floor.Trips Cottage; converted from the former stable block at Bay Tree Farm; provides ideal accommodation for self catering holidays for two people.Please note: We are a no smoking propery; pets welcome by arrangement. Check in 16:00-18:30 and check out 10:30. Family rooms are priced on 2 adults sharing. Additional charges for children between the ages 3 - 10 are £10 per child per night; between 11 – 16 £15 per child per night payable on arrival. Children aged 1 – 2 are free.
