Inns in Glenrothes

The Covenanter Hotel is an early 17th Century coaching inn situated opposite the fountain right in the heart of the village. The hotel is full of character with original oak beams, low ceilings and period features. The hotel has three very comfortable en-suite rooms and two suites.

At the Covenanter Hotel, meals are served in Luigino's which specialise in real wood fired pizzas, homemade pastas and old favourite Italian specialities. Table reservation is advisable. The restaurant is closed on Boxing Day and the 1st January.

In Falkland make sure you take a visit to Falkland Palace, a stroll around the beautiful village, or for the more energetic, a hike up the stunning Lomond Hills.
The area boasts over 40 golf courses, has excellent shooting, fishing and stalking, all of which can be organised for you.
Other activities in the area include an off-road four wheel driving school, scuba diving, falconry, horse riding, The Scottish Deer Centre and Knockhill Race Circuit to name but a few.
