Located within the ancient town walls of the spectacular Caernarfon Castle. Centrally located with the town centre, shops and restaurants just 2 minutes away. Within easy reach are numerous museums, galleries and theatres for your entertainment. The countryside of Snowdonia is also close by for walking, cycling, sailing, outdoor pursuits, amazing beaches and rock pools and golf set amongst dramatic scenery. Also just two minutes walk from the banks of the picturesque Menai Straight opposite the Isle of Anglesey.

Cartref prides itself on the relaxation and the quality of service offered to guests. We take pride in providing food to savour, in an unhurried and comfortable space and the warmest of welcomes. We are keen to emulate the ‘Slow City Movement’ of Italy.

‘We are enslaved by speed and have all succumbed to the same
insidious virus: Fast Life, which disrupts our habits, invades the
privacy of our homes, and forces us to eat Fast Foods""—
