Montfort Cottage was built in the latter part of the 19th century from lakeland stone and, although modernised, still retains much of its original charm and character.

Ideally situated between the villages of Windermere and Bowness, with their abundance of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, and a short distance from Lake Windermere itself.

Complimentary use of Parklands Country Club in Bowness is also included. Facilities offered free of charge include the use of the gym, swimming pool, steam bath and sauna. Don't forget to bring your swimming costume and a towel!

There are 5 double bedrooms in total. All have en-suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are three rooms with four poster beds.

All the rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style with country pine furniture. Each bedroom comes equipped with a hospitality tray, colour TV, cuddly toy, hairdryer, clock/radio and iron & ironing board as standard.
