Roslin Cottage is ideally placed for those guests who want to enjoy the quiet space of the country within an hour of the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling and take advantage of local amenities in and around Callander - good food pubs with entertainment, restaurants, leisure centre activities including swimming and rock wall climbing, and interesting shops.
Our 17th Century cottage sits at the east edge of the town of Callander, with country walks leading on to Sustrans Route 7 cycle track and down to the Rivers Teith and Keltie. The new Bracklinn Bridge is closeby and worth a visit in itself while enjoying breathtaking views over the Upper Crags above Callander. Ben Ledi and Ben A'an are popular mountain climbs, while Loch Venacher and Lake of Menteith are great for fishing. Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and gateway to The Trossachs offers fantastic outdoor pursuits including fishing, cycling, golfing, sailing, horse riding, photography as well as hill walking and mountain climbing in beautiful scenery.
