From the beginning of my stay everything was right at this hotel - on arrival the welcome was warm and genuine. My room was good - clean, spacious, nicely decorated; the bed was comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. The en suite bathroom was clean and fully functional; the dining and bar areas were also spotlessly clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and the menu for evening meals was great - I can recommend the walnut pate en croute! The staff were attentive without hovering and the food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have nothing but praise for this hotel - the environment, staff and food were exactly what I was looking for and at a very reasonable cost.
