Good Points: Absolutely excellent and exquisite food. We could not fault the evening meal and passed on our congratulations to the chef that night. The waiters/waitresses were extremely helpful, polite, accomodating and friendly. The location was just beautiful and perfect for walks and we loved coming in to the open fire for a warming cup of tea follwing a freezing walk! The dining room was very attractive and we really enjoyed having a radiator table seated next to each other on a square table (instead of oppposite each other as is the tradtional way)as it is cosier and easier for conversation. Bad Points: That the second open fire has to be put out due to it smoking into the bar area. The mirror lights in the bathroom were not working. We only had one night and would much rather have had several more! General review: Would recommend it to anyone and intend to visit again as soon as possible!
