It's entrance is deceptive as it appears to be a narrow track (with passing points) leading from a housing estate. The trail leads to the site of a former coalmine cleverly transformed into a perfect vale of tranquility, flanked on both sides by towering woodlands. Theres a picturesque stream and small lake. My 14 year old daughter put it aptly when she first saw it...Wow!
