Good Points: The hotel had all the necessary facilities; had own car park which was free. Breakfast was good.
Bad Points: This obviously once very good hotel is "tired" and needs a thorough refurbishment. The staff tried hard but atmosphere was lacking. The price on the face of it was reasonable but given the state of the facilities it was not. In addition, the security was evidently lacking; anyone could walk in to the lift at street level and gain access; my wife felt vulnerable coming back in the late evening.
General review: Very disappointed; this hotel is potentially very good but until it is refurbished I would not wish to stay again.
