Innes’s music and comedy career began while he was at art school, his collaborator in the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band the great Viv Stanshall a contact from that period. The Bonzos had hits with I’m the Urban Spaceman and the extremely wonderful The Intro and the Outro, among others. He has worked on a number of TV series, including the Python avant-la-lettre Do Not Adjust Your Set, and The Rutles, and innumerable other TV, radio and comedy projects.
