Studied journalism at Harlow College. Worked as a reporter on the South London Press before moving to The Sun. Appointed editor of The News of the World in 1994 then The Sun from 1995 to 2004. Has developed a career in television where he is well known as a judge on the show America's Got Talent and stars in the show Britain’s Got Talent. In 2006 he Morgan launched First News a weekly paper aimed at children.
