Right fast medium bowler and right hand batsmen. Currently Captain of Yorkshire. Made England debut in test cricket and one day internationals in 1994. Retired from Test cricket in 2003 due to a knee injury having taken 229 wickets with a bowling average of 28.39. Took part in the television show Strictly Come Dancing winning with his dancing partner Lilia Kopylova.
