Born 1941 - English composer.

Studied at Oxford, the Royal College of Music and in Milan. Became a lecturer in music at Edinburgh University. His works include operas (Fanny Rodin 1975 and Hedda Gabler 1985), a symphony, concertos, choral works, string quartets and vocal pieces.
