The property, with origins in the Domesday Book and parts dating back some 400 years, was tastefully converted to a hotel in 1976 and has recently undergone a major refurbishment. The Hotel boasts wonderful facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, games room and a hard standing tennis court. Aside from the hotel, we also have 7 self catering cottages, which include use of all the facilties plus the restaurant and bar. Pets are welcome in the cottages but not the hotel. The lounge bar and restaurant has a great selection of food, wines and malt whiskeys to choose from. We are able to cater for special requirements and children if notified in advance. Guests can relax with a glass of wine in the courtyard and extensive gardens. Trimstone Manor enjoys an enviable location, within minutes of North Devon's coastline and beaches, great for windsurfing and surfing. Other attractions within the area include pony trekking, golf, walking, cycling and clay pigeon shooting.
