The house was built by Newson Garrett, father of feminist pioneers Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Millicent Fawcett in 1893. It has a big garden and is situated in a private road in the quiet and wooded part of Aldeburgh opposite the town tennis courts and the Bowling Green. The footpath beyond the front gate leads to the marshes and the river 10 minutes away. In the other direction Aldeburgh high street and the beach are less than 10 minutes walk. There is ample parking space. Aldeburgh town is full of good shops and great places to eat and drink.

2nd floor double bedroom with an attached smaller room with single sofa/bed, plus bathroom with bath, shower, loo and handwash basin. Bathroom access is through the single bedroom. There is an additional single "Z bed" and cot available for families. Great views over the marshes to the river and beyond.
First floor double/twin with views over the garden. Bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, handwash basin and loo.
