Tranquility is a new contemporary boutique-style country guest house that resides in the three valleys of Underbarrow, Crosthwaite, and Lyth. A unique destination for the discerning guest who wish to relax, chill out and enjoy those special times away from it all. A very warm welcome is assured to our entire guest with an experience to treasure always. Tranquillity is assured with uninterrupted views to the East, West, North and South. Our lounge faces west with a panoramic bay window it reveals Cartmel fell, Lyth Valley, then north to Langdales, Kentmere, finally south towards Morecambe Bay and Whitbarrow.

The entrance hall is decorated in a modern contempory style with pastel colours, the occasional antique, ash flooring and rugs, a beautiful ash stair case and minstrel gallery.Our lounge has a 6-metre panoramic bay window which simply take your breath away, offering views to the north south and west. A large open log fire is positioned at one end, whilst the other end hosts a mirror drinks cabinet . The guest lounge is a perfect place to watch the sun set over the valley or to take breakfast in the ambience of one of those special days.
