In a splendid location for enjoying the English Riviera, this comfortable cottage lies close to two local beaches – Oddicombe, reached by cliff railway (500 yards), and Babbacombe, a renowned scuba diving centre. Walking the Downs, taking in the stunning sea views, is a delight in itself, and there is a local theatre here too. Kents Caverns, Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones (victorian style shops) and Torquay Golf Club are among a feast of local attractions, whilst the quaint fishing port of Brixham and Paignton, with its famous zoo and coastal steam train rides to Dartmouth, are just a short drive away. Boats can be hired at Torquay's pretty harbour and a host of events and festivals are held in the area throughout the season. Pubs serving food and local shops are found in Babbacombe, 50 yards.
