The UK's only full-time public observatory. See breathtaking views of the stars and planets through our impressive Victorian telescope. We also have a fully computerised telescope which can detect 30,000 objects in the sky! During October to March, our Planetariums Shows provide the chance to
learn about constellations and planets and othere jewels of the night sky. There are also displays on the solar system and space exploration.
Admission free to the Observatory and displays. Small charge applies to group visits and for public Planetarium Shows and workshops.

Apr to Sept Tues to Fri 11am-5pm
Sat & Sun 12.30-4pm
Oct to Mar Mon to Fri 4-10pm
