Offering an ideal base for exploring both Cornwall and the Devon borders, it is just a short drive from Lydford Gorge (N.T.), Tavistock and Dartmoor National Park's rugged grandeur. Glorious surfing beaches at Bude on the north coast and the pretty, sandy coves of Looe on the south coast are easily acessible as are Cotehele and Lanhydrock (both N.T.). Dining pub 1½ miles, shops in Launceston.
