Thurlestone Lodge is an elegant stone built Victorian family house, standing within its own landscaped gardens. Carefully renovated & updated, the sense of space & graciousness inherent in Victorian houses has been retained, & this, along with good quality furnishings & modern sanitary ware throughout, has earned it the “Highly Commended” 4 star award by the AA.

Situated in a quiet position on the outskirts of Corsham, a 10 minute walk will take you into the centre of this lovely old market town. Dating back to the 14th Century the original part of the town is very attractive, built of mellow stone, & has been the backdrop in several period dramas. There is a selection of eating places to choose from, as well as some interesting little shops.

Close by are the beautiful villages of Lacock & Castle Combe, both used frequently for set pieces in period films, & the World Heritage City of Bath is 7 miles to the east, easily accessible by bus or car. Corsham is ideally situated to visit the other West Country attractions of Stonehenge, Avebury, Cheddar, Longleat & the Cotswolds.
