Within walking distance of the city centre, Princes Street and the Royal Mile, this guest house offers comfortable accommodation with free wireless broadband internet access. The McDonald Guest House is just off Leith Walk and there is a variety of restaurants and traditional pubs within easy walking distance. Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre is very close by.

Rooms are available on the ground floor and the other bedrooms are to the rear of the building, where there is a quiet, restful ambience. Your friendly host, Marion, is a native of Edinburgh and enjoys sharing her knowledge of the city, and the Lothians. Tours to the Highlands can be arranged. To wind down after a busy day you can treat yourself to tea or coffee with traditional Scottish shortbread. The accommodation is situated on 2 floors, and the dining room is located downstairs.
