Set in a traditional part of Edinburgh, with many fine examples of Victorian architecture surrounding the area, this small family-run guest house occupies a great position to reach the city’s main attractions. Set in the Tollcross area of the city, the house is within easy reach of Edinburgh’s main attractions, including the castle, theatres and fantastic shopping. Also, behind the house you can find Union Canal, which boasts beautiful walks and waterside restaurants.

A late Victorian house, fully refurbished to provide all modern comforts, Balmore has maintained many of its original period features, including a wrought iron staircase, chandeliers and ornate cornices. If you would prefer a very modern room, please ask for Bowmore, Balmore's neighbouring property, which has been refurbished with oak wooden floors, simple decoration and modern furniture and again all en suite.
