Nestling in the heart of the North Dorset Countryside, our 18th Century country inn is waiting to give you a warm country welcome. The inn has a relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable interior. Beautifully decorated, the original character of the inn has been retained and enhanced, including open fire places exposed stonework and ancient timber beams. Come and enjoy the big log fire in The Country Bar, the gorgeous countryside on our doorstep, fishing , country walks and award-winning food.

All our rooms are comfortably furnished to a very high standard in the Edwardian Country Style, with family portraits paintings and antique furniture which create the atmosphere of a country house weekend. There is central heating, tea/coffee making equipment, direct dial telephone, colour television with 24 channels a radio and alarm service. WIFI will be available soon.
