The hostel is within a ten-minute walk (if you are carrying with you two bulky luggage cases; it's otherwise a five-minute walk) from the Gloucester Green Bus Station, so it would be very convenient if you were arriving at Oxford on buses (the Airline shuttle from the LHR airport). Although the entrance to the hostel -- and actually also its entire appearance from the outside when you are walking down the Park End Street -- is merely a commonly sized door like that of a private house (yes, you are not expecting any window or wall other than that), it's still easy to locate if you are alert to its big yellow sign. There are cafeterias and pubs around. And since it's almost by the city center, you'll find lots of bus stops nearby to take you to almost everywhere you want in Oxford. What's even better is that there are two Chinese restaurants and a Chinese supermarket just within very short walking distance.
