Whichever of our six rooms you stay in, you will receive a warm welcome from Sue and John on your arrival at The Somerset. We are located opposite the Railway Station and only two minutes walk from the lovely Weymouth beach. A walk into town will only take you about five minutes.

If you are travelling by car we have a limited number of car parking permits that you can use whilst staying with us. Please ask about these when booking. After having a hearty English breakfast served between 08.30 and 9.00 a.m you can plan your day out. It may be a walk along the coast path, or perhaps a wander into town to look around the harbour, Nothe Fort and the shops. Alternatively, take a trip around the lovely Dorset countryside. Attractions close by include Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove and Abbotsbury Swannery. If the sun is shining you may prefer to lay out on the award winning beach and take in some rays.
